Large parking area, secluded near UW college on University Dr., with many trails. Cemented trail to the left, dirt trail with a hilly trail to the right, has a steep decline finish, my favorite, also a small pond to right. There's also grassy and dirt trail through the fields, towards the back of the park. You can see off of the parking lot the pond to the left for fishing, some kids and adults like to walk the lower pond trail for fishing further down on that trail, not mentioned already. Picnic benches available. Dogs allowed if you clean up after them! Building off of cement trail, not sure if still used for events. Soccer fields at bottom of hills, and off cement trail also, not sure of the affiliation there. Lastly, for winter fun, small and steep sledding hills that are great. There are bathrooms also, open in summer season, times unsure. Many garbage receptacles available too. During rainy season can get muddy on noncemented trails, otherwise, Great park!
The only thing I really enjoy about this park is the fun exercise equipment, which is unfortunately right by the kiddie playground and in the front of the park.
